Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Consultant to lead and execute data migration activities for our SAP landscape. This role will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing end-to-end data migration solutions using SAP Data Services, LSMW, and ABAP. You will work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and secure migration of legacy and external data into SAP systems, enabling successful modernization and transformation initiatives.
REQUIRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in SAP data migration, including leadership of large-scale migration efforts.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, and ABAP development.
- Deep understanding of SAP data structures, objects, and integration points across core modules.
- Proven track record of designing and executing complex ETL and data conversion solutions.
- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and cutover strategies in SAP environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations, including new implementations and brownfield/greenfield conversions.
- Knowledge of SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) or related data quality tools.
- Familiarity with DoD/DON IT systems, security policies, and data compliance frameworks.
- Prior experience in defense, federal government, or other highly regulated industries.
- Security Clearance eligibility.
