JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Windchill Data Migration Specialist with 13+ years of hands-on experience in data migration projects, preferably within Windchill PLM environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLM data models, workflows, and configurations, with prior experience in medical device domains being highly advantageous.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 13+ years of hands-on experience in data migration, preferably in Windchill PLM environments.
• Strong understanding of Windchill data models, workflows, and configurations.
• Experience migrating data from non-PLM systems to Windchill (highly desirable).
• Proficiency in Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) and Site Consolidation tools.
• Knowledge of data migration methodologies, best practices, and validation techniques.
• Familiarity with CAD data and engineering document management systems.
• Scripting proficiency (e.g., Python, Java, or Shell scripting) for automation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in the medical device industry or other regulated sectors.
• Exposure to PLM customization and integration with enterprise systems.

• Lead and execute end-to-end data migration projects, including planning, extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Migrate data from non-PLM systems to Windchill, ensuring data integrity and compliance with best practices.
• Utilize Windchill migration tools and utilities, including Site Consolidation tools and WBM (Windchill Bulk Migrator).
• Develop and implement data mapping, transformation, and validation strategies.
• Automate migration processes using scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or Shell scripting).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, and business stakeholders) to ensure seamless migration.
• Maintain expertise in CAD data and engineering document management systems relevant to PLM.
