Senior Data Modeler/Senior Power BI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Data Modeler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of experience in data modeling, with strong proficiency in Power BI and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX). This role requires a keen analytical mind, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 8 years of experience in data modeling and analysis.
• Proficiency in Data modelling, Power Query, DAX and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in Power BI or data analytics are a plus.

• Data Modeling: Design and develop robust data models using Microsoft Power BI and other relevant tools.
• DAX Development: Create and optimize Power Queries, DAX expressions to enhance data models and reports.
• Data Integration: Integrate various data sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
• Reporting: Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, DAX formulas, and reporting processes.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
