Tasks

• Design, automate, and further develop modern data platforms on Azure and Databricks.
• Implement scalable platform architectures, development environments, and deployment processes.
• Establish Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and reusable platform standards
• Ensure security, governance, monitoring, performance, and stability
• Support data engineers (m/f/d) and project teams through standardized platform services and best practices.
• Contribute to architecture, technology and platform decisions

qualification

• Experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer (m/f/d) with 3-5 years of experience in building and developing modern data platforms, preferably based on Azure and Databricks
• Very good German skills (at least C1 level)
• Excellent knowledge of data platform engineering, cloud architectures, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, security and governance
• Solid experience with Databricks, relevant Azure services, Terraform, Python and SQL
• Team-oriented, self-reliant and quality-conscious with a focus on scalable, automated and maintainable platform solutions
