Senior Data Privacy and Risk Manager
Salary: National £80,000 / London £90,000
Are you someone with a passion for Data Privacy and Governance, who enjoys networking across the business? If so, join our dynamic, collaborative team in a truly progressive environment!
Data is becoming a key differentiator for Aviva. The value and volume of data available to streamline operations and improve pricing are growing exponentially. The shift towards AI and analytics presents numerous opportunities for Aviva. However, the risks associated with data, particularly concerning individuals’ privacy, are under constant scrutiny by our Regulators and will continue to evolve in the coming years.
If protecting customers is as important to you as it is to us, and you thrive in a constantly evolving environment, we would love to hear from you!
A bit about the job:
This role involves providing 2nd line oversight and challenge to the Aviva Group Business, specifically focusing on data governance, data privacy, and emerging data risk exposures. You will identify opportunities to enhance data risk management across Aviva, both in day-to-day operations and during change and transformation activities. Additionally, you will oversee the data management frameworks (including data governance and privacy) and the associated data strategy.
Your support will be crucial in establishing a robust Data Risk Management landscape, ensuring Aviva meets its business objectives. You will lead with a strong risk perspective, aiding management in understanding, assessing, and managing their data risks and key controls. This will facilitate better business decisions and promote positive customer outcomes.
