We're one of the largest and most advanced Data Science practices in the country Together we can build state-of-the-art Data Science models that power seamless experiences for millions of customers Please note that we have two opportunities Do work that matters As a Senior Data Scientist within the Business Bank’s Customer, Channels and Data AI Centre of Excellence (AiCE), you will assist in the development, monitoring, implementation and management of models supporting our journey of transforming the practice of Business Banking across Australia. From applying Generative AI to better support knowledge and decision management functions, to activating agent oriented AI design patterns to better automate and drive results, you will be familiar with the latest and most exciting patterns in AI and Data Science development that may support this mission objective. Your AI and Data Science perspective will be informed by your experience in the financial services or financial technology domains. Have applied experience in multi-agentic Generative AI frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangGraph, or OpenAI Responses API (or equivalent frameworks) Constantly thinking outside the box and breaking boundaries to solve complex data science problems using generative AI methods. Tech skills: We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. While we don’t expect you to know them all, experience or exposure to generative AI, agents, AI, and machine learning will set you up for success in this role. Generative AI Hands-on Delivery Experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience as a senior data scientist, with successful applications of generative AI in production settings. Expertise in AI: Including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), design, safety guardrails, and frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex. Cloud Platforms: Experience using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, or Microsoft Azure OpenAI platforms. GenAI and AI Models: Demonstrated experience in developing, deploying, and monitoring generative AI and AI models on AWS infrastructure, including Bedrock, SageMaker, Knowledge Base, and OpenSearch. LLM Models: Proficiency in using large language models (LLMs) for various business applications. Agentic Workflow Frameworks: Experience with agentic workflow frameworks such as AutoGen, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and LangChain. Machine Learning Experience: Expertise in designing and constructing machine learning models, including those developed by Hugging Face, covering feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, model evaluation, and deployment of Machine Learning/AI models. Statistical Machine Learning and Big Data: Proficiency in statistical machine learning using Python and SQL for big data analysis.
