Description

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of our digital twin platform. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams—AI engineers, bioinformaticians, clinicians, and product managers—to create predictive models that translate complex biomedical data into actionable healthcare insights.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: PhD or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
  • Experience: 5–8+ years in data science, with at least 3 years in healthcare, biotech, or life sciences.
  • Proven expertise in multi-modal data integration and time-series modeling.
  • Strong skills in machine learning (supervised, unsupervised, deep learning) using Python, R, or similar.
  • Experience with simulation modeling frameworks (e.g., agent-based models, systems biology modeling, digital twin architectures).
  • Familiarity with biomedical ontologies, EHR/EMR systems, and FHIR/HL7 standards.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial design, regulatory requirements, and model validation in healthcare.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific questions into computational solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of patient-specific digital twin models integrating genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, imaging, and clinical data.
  • Design predictive algorithms for disease progression, treatment efficacy, and adverse event risk modeling.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to build scalable data pipelines for multi-modal data ingestion and processing.
  • Develop simulation frameworks to test intervention strategies before real-world application.
  • Implement machine learning and computational modeling techniques for real-time decision support.
  • Work closely with medical experts to ensure models are clinically relevant, explainable, and regulatory compliant.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for model development and validation.
  • Publish results and contribute to thought leadership in digital twin and precision medicine research.
