Retail Banking Analytics Data Science Chapter This chapter provides machine learning expertise for developing lending, pricing, and personalization analytics. Based in Amsterdam, we are a team of 10+ highly skilled Data Scientists from diverse backgrounds such as physics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, econometrics, and astrophysics. We work in a creative and collaborative environment, sharing knowledge and supporting each other to deliver impactful projects. Our portfolio is broad and uses a wide range of algorithms and tools, all related to risk and pricing. What you’ll do Develop machine learning and advanced analytics solutions for specific business use cases. Take a leading role in solution development and support medior and junior data scientists. Actively engage with stakeholders. Collaborate with subject matter experts and machine learning engineers to bring models into production. Who you are Highly motivated to solve complex problems with a continuous learning mindset. Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning and apply them where they add value. Enjoy sharing knowledge and helping teammates grow. Required Skills At least 6 years of experience developing Machine Learning solutions, ideally in the private sector. Knowledge of lending, credit risk, and credit decision domains is a strong advantage. Broad experience with end-to-end machine learning project implementation, including all steps from data extraction to modeling and deployment. Proven track record of leading multiple data science projects. Strong programming skills in Python and Spark. Hands-on experience with MS Azure DevOps and GCP is a strong plus. Solid educational background in mathematics and statistics (Master’s degree or preferably Ph.D.). Strong theoretical knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning, with demonstrated ability to apply these to solve business problems and develop innovative models or data-driven products. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both technical and business contexts. Fluency in spoken and written English.
