PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hands-on experience with marketing analytics, including attribution modeling and marketing mix modeling (MMM)
  • Structured problem-solving skills – ability to decompose complex problems and design robust analytical approaches
  • Strong and effective relationship-building, influencing, change management, and networking skills
  • Proven excellence in communication skills, including the ability to translate technical insights for business stakeholders
  • Experience designing and analyzing A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Ability to create strong, clear presentations around complex data and technology tailored to audiences of varying technical expertise
  • Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, or related field; or PhD in a quantitative discipline or Life Sciences with advanced analytics background
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL and cloud-based databases
  • Proficiency with statistical and machine learning programming languages such as Python or R
  • Familiarity with big data frameworks and distributed computing (e.g., Spark, Databricks)
  • Experience with digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Optimizely, or similar
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Looker
  • Strong experience in applying predictive modeling, time-series forecasting, clustering, regression, and classification techniques to solve business problems
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis on data and processes to identify opportunities for optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex projects independently, collaborating across diverse teams and external partners

Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Scientist you will drive business decisions by developing and applying advanced statistical, artificial intelligence / machine learning, and data science methods to uncover patterns, generate insights, and forecast outcomes. In addition to high-quality analyses that identify business opportunities, you will play a critical role in advancing high-priority eCommerce initiatives such as personalization, experimentation, forecasting, pricing, and customer behavior modeling. You will also leverage expertise in marketing analytics—such as attribution modeling and marketing mix modeling (MMM)—to support data-driven strategic decisions where applicable.

  • Design experiments, measure usability and effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvements, collaborating closely with marketing, digital, product, and eCommerce operations teams.
  • Leverage analytics and predictive modeling to provide forward-looking insights on potential costs, risks, and profitability of new initiatives.
  • Build scalable data science solutions, automate reporting pipelines, and partner with stakeholders across the organization to ensure insights drive measurable impact.
  • Lead large projects and initiatives, providing strategic direction while mentoring and developing more junior team members to elevate overall team capabilities.
