Description
Define, invent and deliver metrics which accurately measure user and business value across various products and ads marketplace components. Design, create and implement models and systems to forecast and explain outcomes from marketplace changes. Interpret the results of modeling/analytics/interventions, validate approaches, and iterate to continuously improve customer and business outcomes. Partner effectively with product management, engineers, and other areas of the business across our consumer online business. Engage with stakeholders to produce clear, compelling, and actionable insights and data-science driven workflows that influence product and service improvements. Make independent decisions for the team and handle difficult tradeoffs in both technical and business scenarios involving multiple stakeholders. Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results) OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results) OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results) OR equivalent experience. 1+ years customer-facing, project-delivery experience, professional services, and/or consulting experience.
