POSITION OVERVIEW

Stay22 is pioneering the future of travel content monetization through data science and machine learning. We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist on the Neuro Squad to lead these efforts. In this role, you will ensure the quality and validity of data feeding our machine learning pipelines, design and analyze A/B experiments, and build robust datasets for model training and evaluation. You will work closely with ML Engineers and cross-functional teams to implement and measure data-driven features that improve the travel experience. This is an opportunity to shape Stay22’s predictive travel solutions and push the boundaries of AI in travel technology.

REQUIREMENTS

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical field
• 6–8+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or a related role
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Snowflake
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests, with strong statistical analysis skills
• Strong data engineering and data wrangling skills
• Experience working with machine learning data pipelines and supporting model development
• Background in travel technology or retail analytics is a strong plus.
• Strong Math skills
• Strong data science background, including statistical analysis, data cleaning, and visualization with tools like pandas, matplotlib
• Hands-on experience deploying machine learning models in production, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration into broader product ecosystems

• Analyze and validate data used in machine learning pipelines
• Analyze the results of A/B tests for ML models
• Design and implement new A/B tests for machine learning experiments
• Engineer and validate new features and metrics
• Harness the power of LLMs to enhance predictions and unlock new features for Stay22 products
• Build and maintain high-quality datasets for ML model training and evaluation
• Support ML Engineers with data preparation, experimentation, and performance evaluation
• Occasionally train machine learning models to demonstrate proof-of-concepts
• Focus on creating low-maintenance, production-ready data solutions, balancing the needs of scalability, maintainability, and rapid experimentation
