WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED

• Technical education in Data Science, Computer Science with a focus on AI or similar
• Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (i.e., OpenAI, LLama, or similar)
• Development experience with Java and/or Python
• Experience in building and leading a successful data science or software team
• A solid understanding of the Agile Software development lifecycle
• Empathetic and sympathetic person with a passion for mentoring, coaching, and knowledge-sharing
• Communicative personality with customer-centric end-to-end thinking
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills

• Ensuring smooth and effective teamwork, focusing on mentoring, coaching, and leadership
• Acting as a data scientist, ensuring and improving the capabilites of Davis CoPilot™
• Prompt engineering for large language models (LLMs) which are running in Davis CoPilot™
• Deploy LLM-powered applications to production (CI/CD)
• Managing and optimizing cloud deployments to ensure high availability and scalable performance
• Collaboration with Directors, Product Owners, Lead Product Engineers as well as Agile Coaches so you as a team reach your goals
• Creating an inspiring, cooperative environment with open communication and fostering teamwork
• Discovering training needs, motivating, and supporting team members to grow
