The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Solutions Architect to join the team in Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; North Charleston, SC; Berkeley, MO; or Hazelwood, MO.
The Data Solution Architect will have a passion for building large scale software systems. We are looking for a teammate who is highly motivated and likes to solve challenging and complex problems across a variety of domains.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years of experience building platforms and data products
  • 5+ years of experience working with data and data warehousing business solutions
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud-platform technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with data pipeline tools and Extract Transform Load (ETL) services
  • Experience with the configuration of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for data ingestion
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) hardware and software integration
  • Experience with C++, Python and Java
  • Experience with IoT, digital thread and digital twin development capability on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • A Bachelor’s of Science or higher from an accredited institution in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other technical degree
  • Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD practices, methodologies and tooling
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or Team Foundation Server (TFS), GitLab, GIT, IIS, Windows Server
  • Experience with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)/Tanzu and/or exposure to Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Cloud technologies and/or Cloud-native app development and microservices
Responsibilities
  • Leads and performs the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of highly complex computing applications and software system architectures or computing architecture and computing application system designs
  • Creates and implements repeatable and reusable patterns for delivering Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions
  • Initiates and leads the analysis of end user processes to define application requirements
  • Designs, implements, and optimizes end to end data pipelines framework, automation for ingesting, processing and transforming large volumes of structures and unstructured data
  • Designs and implements data products, data storage solutions including relational databases, Datawarehouse, data lakes and cloud storage services
  • Optimizes robust Extract Load Transform/Extract Transform Load (ELT/ETL) pipelines to gain scalability & performance of analytics solutions and operational use cases
  • Builds and maintains integrations with internal and external data source and Application Program Interfaces (APIs)
  • Writes and compiles highly-complex code and constructs based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications
  • Leads and performs analysis of information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements
