Job Description
We’re looking for you, limited to 24 months, to join our Planning & Delivery Team.

Tasks

• Your role is to deliver innovative technical solutions that meet the business needs of our partners - including analysing, developing, testing and deploying the solution throughout the development lifecycle
• You’ll work closely with colleagues from other data teams and provide technical and business input to ensure we jointly understand key business issues and seek solutions
• You’ll contribute to the definition of best practices and standards for visualisations and ensuring consistency across the team
• The detailed breakdown of development tasks in projects is part of your daily tasks
• You accompany the entire change process and ensure that the required precision is applied in a timely manner
• You advise and support business users on all topics related to data visualisation
• You’re responsible for the operation and administration of the front-end platforms
• You’ll support the supervision of Associate Engineers and colleagues during the project lifecycle with a focus on continuous improvement

Requirements

• You’ve a degree in data science, data visualisation, computer science or a related subject and 5-6 years of experience in data visualisation, with a focus on compelling visualisations and data-driven reporting
• You’ll bring excellent SQL skills for data transformation and analysis as well as experience with reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects
• A solid technical background in visualisation tools such as Tableau with an understanding of best practices in self-service data delivery and dashboarding
• Experience in cloud-based ETL environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform, and knowledge of ETL concepts sets you apart from others
• You’re familiar with agile methods and project management tools (e.g. JIRA) and have the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and quality are a matter of course for you
• You’ve very good communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to influence technical decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
