• Performance Tuning:Monitoring and optimizing database performance, including SQL query tuning and resource allocation.
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery:Implementing and maintaining high availability solutions like HADR (High Availability Disaster Recovery) to ensure minimal downtime.
• Backup and Recovery:Implementing and managing backup and recovery procedures to protect data in case of failures.
• Security Management:Configuring and enforcing security measures, including user access control and data encryption.
• User Management:Managing user accounts, privileges, and roles within the DB2 environment.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:Diagnosing and resolving database issues and performance problems.
