Description
RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide database support for Oracle, GaussDB, MSSQL and Mysql databases within Linux and Wintel environment. * Undertake DBA role to manage all databases, including database patching, upgrade, performance tuning, monitoring, backup and recovery. * Provide technical assistance to the application team for project development. * Install and configure various Oracle database products and HA solutions, including Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard and GaussDB. * Perform development using PL/SQL, Unix scripts & JAVA. * Perform system administration & monitoring on Linux & Windows servers.   REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 2+ year proven experience in Oracle database administration and support is preferred. * Experience in database performance tuning and optimization.   * Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.   * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.   * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information effectively. * Good command of Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) and English is necessary. * Experience working with financial industry and understand the technical architecture of banking systems is preferred.
