We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Database Developer to join our dynamic Information Technology team. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing all enterprise SQL databases, agents, and jobs used across various departments for functions including big data, reporting, sales, marketing, and client-facing economic forecasts and data products. You will support innovation and technology transformation initiatives for both new and existing projects, transitioning from on-premise systems to Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, the Dataverse (CRM and Business Central), and other modern data platforms. This includes future data migrations and ongoing process improvements.
Our ideal candidate is highly motivated and analytical, with a growth mindset. You possess strong data engineering skills that support database administration, automation of data integrations, and maintenance of ETL processes between applications. You have a passion for technology and continuous learning, and you excel at troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
We are a virtual organization and as a remote worker you must be comfortable and able to work 100 per cent of the time from a home office in Canada. To be successful as a remote worker you need to have a self-starter attitude, possess strong organizational and time management skills and be a proactive communicator. Having a home office environment that provides for a productive, professional, and safe work environment during regular working/business hours is a requirement of this role.

The hiring zone for this position is $80,793 - $95,050 annually for candidates from any Canadian province or territory. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, specific skillsets, as well as market and business considerations. The full compensation band for this position ranges from $80,793 - $109,308. The recruiter can share more information about compensation for the position during the hiring process.
