Job Description Your tasks will include: • Planning, installation, administration, operation, and monitoring of relational database management systems (RDBMS) • Problem and error analysis of DBMS systems • Continuous optimization, automation, and performance analysis of DBMS environments • Development of standards and guidelines, and contribution to the further development of the service portfolio • Setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of relational DBMS • Oracle system updates and migrations • PostgreSQL system updates and migrations • The administrator is responsible for the operation of systems. • Participation in the planning, design, implementation, and operation of complex systems • Handling and execution of complex tasks • Installation and maintenance of tools • Contribution to the development and planning of service concepts • Support in ensuring the agreed service levels • Creation of system documentation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or completed vocational training with equivalent professional experience At least three years of professional experience, including at least one year in IT administration Operational experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL systems Administration experience in Linux Red Hat is required Strong customer-oriented thinking and behavior Professional, trustworthy, and empathetic demeanor Analytical, systematic, and structured working style High analytical and conceptual thinking ability High flexibility, resilience, and willingness to perform Good communication skills Broad and solid technical understanding Very good technical expertise in the targeted area and good knowledge of related technologies Strong cooperation, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills Very good knowledge of German OR English Suitability for on-call duty Willingness to work on weekends Language skills: English (min.
