Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Architect / Data Warehouse Technical Lead with 10+ years of hands-on experience in delivering data warehousing (DW) and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, knowledge of analytics tools, and experience with cloud-based technologies. Domain expertise in the health insurance industry is strongly preferred.
This role demands excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills to ensure the efficient delivery of end-to-end data solutions that align with business needs.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Mandatory 5+ years of experience in data warehouse architecture and reporting solutions.
- Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical) and database optimization.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
- Strong knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and reporting frameworks.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Knowledge of real-time data integration and processing tools (e.g., Kafka).
- Certifications in cloud platforms or data tools (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer Associate).
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Please Note: This role requires you to work from the client office 3 days a week (Sydney CBD).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $96,199.66 – $170,764.86 per year
