Job Description
At AFCA, our work supports fairness for Australians and strong systems matter. As Senior Delivery Lead, you’ll play a critical role in delivering a large‑scale ERP transformation that underpins how our people and services operate every day.

Operating in a regulated environment, you’ll drive modern delivery practices while maintaining strong governance, stakeholder confidence and lasting adoption. This is a 2 year max term contract at AFCA.
What you’ll do
Own and lead the full delivery of the ERP transformation across HRS, Payroll and Finance platforms
Translate strategic intent into clear delivery plans, milestones and measurable outcomes
Establish and lead scaled agile (SAFe) delivery structures, integrated with enterprise governance requirements
Act as the central integrator across business process redesign, change, data and technology delivery
Partner closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, Technology and Operations leaders to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory needs
Lead and coordinate cross‑functional delivery teams, including internal staff, vendors and system integrators
Manage delivery risks, dependencies, budgets and benefits realisation across a complex transformation program
Provide clear, proactive communication and assurance to executives, steering committees and governance forums
Act as a hands‑on change leader, supporting organisational readiness, adoption and capability uplift
Embed a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and modern ways of working
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
Proven experience delivering complex, technology‑enabled transformation
Leadership of large‑scale ERP or core enterprise system implementations (HR, Payroll and Finance experience highly regarded)
Strong transformation background, spanning business process change and technology delivery end‑to‑end
Deep experience delivering at scale using Agile and SAFe in enterprise environments
Comfortable operating in regulated or highly complex organisations
Experienced leading blended delivery models across internal teams and vendors/system integrators
Hands‑on leader with strong execution discipline and outcome focus
Confident and influential stakeholder manager, including at executive level
Brings strong risk, dependency and issue management capability
Clear communicator who simplifies complexity and builds trust
A resilient, pragmatic change leader who brings people through transformation, not just systems live
