We’re Looking for an ‘A’ Player
We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to join our dynamic product development team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring smooth delivery and continuous improvement across multiple, highly agile software engineering teams. As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless collaboration across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams. You will facilitate adoption of Lean Agile principles and processes to drive efficiency, enhance accountability, and optimize capacity planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Delivery Manager role within software engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to drive efficiency improvements in product development and engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of Lean principles and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience in software release management and cross-functional coordination.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach, or other Agile certifications preferred.
  • Previous experience in a startup or highly agile environment is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Coaching and Culture: Act as a coach for the team in Agile best practices, promoting continuous improvement and high-performing team dynamics.
  • End-to-End Delivery Management: Lead and oversee the entire delivery lifecycle by managing timelines, removing impediments, coordinating cross-team dependencies, ensuring quality and testing standards are met, and aligning training and enablement activities to support successful product adoption.
  • Delivery Forecasting & Capacity Planning: Establish capacity-based forecasting to improve planning accuracy, enabling proactive decision-making and realistic delivery commitments.
  • Visibility & Transparency: Develop and implement reporting mechanisms that provide clear insights into delivery progress, team capacity, and process efficiency.
  • Process Efficiency: Optimize engineering and product capacity by identifying bottlenecks, improving workflows, reducing waste, and ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Release Coordination: Own release planning and execution, ensuring smooth deployment and communication across engineering, product, customer success, and marketing.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Planning & Execution: Partner with marketing, sales, customer success, and training teams to align product releases with GTM strategy.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams, ensuring alignment on timelines, priorities, and scope.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Define, track, and analyze engineering team performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster a culture of alignment and shared ownership across teams to drive successful product launches and customer adoption.
  • Facilitation: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other key ceremonies to ensure team alignment and progress towards goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
