The position of Senior Delivery Officer (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) will be integral to ensure the Association is reflective and representative of the County demographics and strategically co-ordinate the Association Inclusion Advisory Group.

This role will include:

  • To be the lead member of staff on the Inclusion and Advisory Board, working with Chair of the Board to ensure football across Devon is inclusive for all
  • To achieve and maintain the FA Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Standard for County FA’s
  • To strategically coordinate and support the growth and retention of disability football and walking football provisions across the Devon
  • To provide expertise and guidance on all diversity and inclusion matters
  • To contribute to the effective implementation of The FA’s Safeguarding Operating Standard for County FAs
  • To support the adoption of FA technology systems across grassroots football
  • To comply with FA rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidance that are in place from time to time

You need to be passionate about and committed to the delivery and development of football at a local level. You must be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Candidates must be great administrators with proven project management experience, and be able to demonstrate both team working and the ability to work unsupervised. Candidates should also have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Alongside these skills, candidates will need to demonstrate a working knowledge of inclusion, equality, anti–discrimination and safeguarding. You need also to have a current driving licence and be able to work evenings and weekends.
