  • Demonstrated experience in GMP-regulated environments, with knowledge of validation practices and compliance standards (FDA, GAMP5)
  • Strong understanding of automation system architecture, networking, and data integrity principles
  • Ability to act as a technical lead, providing guidance and support across teams and projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and resolve complex technical issues

  • Exposure to virtualised environments and system administration (e.g. DeltaV Virtual Studio)
  • Experience working within large capital projects or brownfield environments
  • Knowledge of data historians, reporting tools, or analytics platforms beyond PI
  • Prior collaboration with cross-functional teams including IT, QA, and manufacturing operations
  • Experience mentoring or training junior engineers or site personnel
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical expert for DeltaV DCS systems, providing guidance on system design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Lead integration efforts between DeltaV, PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar), MES (PAS-X), and AVEVA PI, ensuring seamless communication and data integrity.
  • Develop and implement advanced automation solutions to enhance manufacturing operations and improve system efficiency.
  • Act as a mentor and technical leader for junior engineers and site personnel, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, applying expertise in control systems, data flow, and network security.
  • Oversee system upgrades, migrations, and expansions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
