You will be a part of HPB’s Youth Preventive Dental Service (YPDS) as a Dental Surgeon / Senior Dental Surgeon where you will play a crucial role in providing oral health care education and services to school-going children. Your work will contribute to ensuring good oral health and dental fitness among the younger generation, setting the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles. [What you will be working on] As a valued member of the YPDS team, you will have the important role of providing essential dental care to primary, secondary school children, and pre-schoolers. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a zone of field or mobile dental clinics. Your duties will also involve supervising junior dentists and Oral Health Therapists (OHTs) in their clinical work, managing cases referred by the OHTs, and conducting training for the OHTs. Beyond clinical work, you will have opportunities to contribute to policy development, programme management, and the enhancement of dental IT systems.
