Responsibilities
  1. Hold and discharge statutory powers and functions of the Deputy Registrar-General under the Registration Act 1927
    (NT) and deputise and exercise powers of the Registrar-General as necessary
  2. Manage and monitor the Land Tittles Office and Office of Births, Deaths & Marriages to ensure statutory and
    administrative requirements are met.
  3. Be a principal source of advice on Lands Title and Births, Deaths and Marriages registration requirements.
  4. Participate as the business lead of the eConveyancing project team.
  5. Develop directions, regulations, policies, procedures and recommendations in relation to the delivery of electronic and
    manually aligned registration services.
  6. Provide leadership for the Department’s eConveyancing project responsibilities while strategically managing risk and
    making sure that all activities are completed within agreed timeframes
  7. Implement changes required for the introduction of e Conveyancing in the Northern Territory and participate in national
    forums such as the Australian Registrar’s Electronic Conveyancing Council (ARNECC) and Australian Registrars Working
    Group (ARWG).
