Description

Your Opportunity:
Are you passionate about transforming healthcare through design and innovation? Join the Design Lab as a Senior Design Consultant, where you’ll be at the forefront of co-creating meaningful change across Alberta’s health system. This is your opportunity to work with a dynamic team that partners with clinicians, patients, families, and community organizations to reimagine healthcare services through human-centered design. As a key member of the Design Lab, you’ll lead participatory design workshops, strategic facilitation, and capacity-building initiatives that span acute care, primary care, community health, and beyond. You’ll bring a systems-thinking lens to complex challenges, using design-led methodologies to engage diverse stakeholders and co-create innovative solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings emotional intelligence and creativity to their work, and is energized by collaboration and impact. You’ll also contribute to the planning and production of the annual i4 conference, helping to shape the future of innovation in healthcare. If you’re ready to lead change, inspire innovation, and help shape a more human-centered health system, we want to hear from you.
