We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer (Architect) to join our construction engineering team. The successful candidate will lead the design process for various civil, Architectural/structural, and infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with codes and standards, and alignment with client and project requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architect / Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer status preferred.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience in design engineering within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
  • Proficient in CAD software and structural analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple design packages simultaneously.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or high-rise projects.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and green building practices (e.g., LEED certification).

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the design of structural and civil systems for construction projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
  • Prepare, review, and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Coordinate with architects, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
  • Perform structural analysis and modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000).
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to verify design implementation and address technical issues.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers, promoting knowledge sharing and technical development.
  • Participate in value engineering exercises and contribute to innovative design solutions that optimize project outcomes.
  • Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and material take-offs.
