Job Description · Design & Specification o Develop and review instrumentation and control system designs, drawings, and specifications. o Select appropriate instruments, sensors, transmitters, and control systems for process applications. o Prepare datasheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations. · Project Execution o Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling of instrumentation activities. o Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, process, etc.) during project execution. o Support construction and commissioning of instrumentation systems. · Maintenance & Calibration o Develop and implement calibration procedures and schedules for field instruments. o Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems. o Ensure all instruments meet required accuracy, safety, and compliance standards. · Control Systems o Support configuration, testing, and optimization of PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems. o Maintain and update control logic, instrument loops, and interlocks as per process requirements. · Compliance & Safety o Ensure all instrumentation work complies with industry standards (ISA, IEC, API, etc.). o Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety procedures. o Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and risk assessments. · Continuous Improvement o Recommend and implement improvements to instrumentation systems for better reliability and efficiency. o Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices. Qualifications · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field. · Experience: Typically 10-15 yrs of experience in instrumentation design, installation, or maintenance (depending on job level). · Technical Skills: o Strong knowledge of process instrumentation (flow, pressure, level, temperature, etc.) o Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA systems, and fieldbus communication (HART, Modbus, Profibus) o Familiarity with P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control narratives o Understanding of hazardous area classifications and intrinsically safe systems · Soft Skills: o Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities o Good communication and teamwork skills o Attention to detail and safety awareness Typical Industries · Oil & Gas · Petrochemical · Power Generation · Water & Wastewater Treatment · Manufacturing & Process Industrie Additional Information Immediate Joiner will be preferred.
