Description

Responsibilities Lead and oversee a team of design professionals to provide technical support on building and architectural engineering systems, including Architectural Builders Works and Finishes (ABWF), station facilities, station/depot layout planning, property and new lines interfacing works, kiosk fitting out and renovation and refurbishment/ replacement works etc. with an aim to enhancing safety, reliability and system performance of railway network. Oversee layout and facilities planning and assets management, including station space, station modification, staff accommodation and easy-access facilities as well as depot improvement works for compliance with specified statutory requirements and procedures, design standards as well as enhancing customer centricity. Manage design consultants and specialists for project works to ensure timely delivery of effective solution within budget. Engage external stakeholders including regulatory bodies, consultants and contractors with review on their submissions. Requirements Degree in Architecture / Building or a related discipline A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience, of which 4 years should be at managerial level with past records in managing multi-disciplinary projects in an operational environment Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferrable. Sound knowledge of statutory procedures such as Buildings Department (BD) and Fire Services Department (FSD) submissions etc. Experience with 3D BIM modelling and its application in asset management is an advantage Strong and practical technical knowledge, proven leadership capability, drive for excellence, stakeholder management and decision-making abilities Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese Remarks Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms Applications You are invited to apply online via Careers at MTR or send in your CV stating the position (with reference number) you are applying for by mail to Human Resource Management Department, MTR Corporation, G.P.O.
