KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Sheet Steel Product Design
• Design for manufacture with keen eye for cost savings.
• Ensure designs are compliant with relevant standards including CE.
• Design of none standard products for specific projects.
• Compile BOMs and verify on the ERP system.
• 4 years experience using 3D CAD. The company uses CREO. Solidworks experience acceptable.
• Product life cycle testing.
• Steel and Stainless Steel light fabrication knowledge.
• Project management tools.
• Team player with a can do attitude.

EXPERIENCE

Ideally the perfect candidate will be a CREO 3D CAD user (or solidworks) with previous experience sheet/ tubular steel products and “whole design” experience. They will be used to working with production engineering to get designs prototyped and scoped ready for production including technical files, testing, BOMs, change documentation.
