Job Description We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Senior Design Manager to join our innovative architectural team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a group of talented architects, designers, and specialists while providing expert architectural guidance for our projects. Provide comprehensive architectural guidance, calculations, and analysis for specialized segments of the Architectural Discipline Manage and mentor various-sized teams of architects, designers, and specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment Develop and oversee project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality designs Conduct in-depth studies and prepare detailed recommendations for assigned projects Collaborate with Project Architectural or Engineering Managers on larger, more complex projects Oversee the design and execution of modest-sized projects independently Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the design phase Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align design solutions with project goals and requirements Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in architectural design and project management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 5 years in a managerial role Proven track record of successfully managing architects, designers, and specialists Strong proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD and Revit Extensive knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide innovative design solutions Demonstrated experience in project management, including schedule and budget oversight Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a collaborative and motivational approach Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly Experience working on a variety of project types and scales, from modest-sized to large-scale developments Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proficiency in calculations, analysis, and technical report writing Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes is a plus Willingness to adapt to the local architectural context and building practices in Saudi Arabia Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
