Qiddiya Investment Company is a pioneering developer of exceptional entertainment and cultural experiences. We are in search of a Senior Design Manager (Architecture) for our Aquatics Centre. This role is integral to the artistic vision and architectural integrity of this flagship aquatic facility.
The successful candidate will lead the architectural design process, ensuring innovative and functional designs that meet the unique requirements of the Aquatics Centre while aligning with Qiddiya’s overall strategic objectives. You will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of architects, engineers, and consultants to bring this state-of-the-art facility to life.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 9-12 years of professional experience in architectural design, with proven experience on high-profile projects.
• Specific experience with aquatic facilities or sports architecture is highly desirable.
• Strong portfolio exemplifying design creativity and successful project management.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and presentation tools.
• In-depth knowledge of current architectural trends, codes, and sustainability practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the capacity to present complex ideas certainly and convincingly.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate design challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead and manage the architectural design for the Aquatics Centre, ensuring creative and high-quality outcomes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to create a cohesive design vision that meets functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of design concepts to stakeholders, managing feedback and revisions effectively.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, sustainability practices, and best design standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and design milestones, aligning timelines with operational and budgetary constraints.
• Facilitate design workshops and discussions to encourage innovation and gather diverse insights.
• Review and approve design submissions, ensuring alignment with the project vision and practical requirements.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Mentor junior architects and designers, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment.
