Senior Design Manager, Hong Kong Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. The client: This client is a major financial institution with commercial offices based in the major cities across the APAC region. You’ll be responsible for: Leading design governance, ensuring projects meet minimum standards and resolving deviations with stakeholders. Providing expert design guidance, training, and updates to strengthen project delivery capability. Coordinating global, regional, and local teams to align standards, approvals, and operational practices. Monitor, report, and present design compliance, risks, insights, and improvement opportunities. Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, lessons learned, and supplementary guidance materials. Build strong client relationships and influence outcomes through trusted technical expertise. You’ll need to have: Degree in architecture or interior design, with recognised professional accreditation preferred. Proven experience in design governance, assurance, and end to end project delivery. Strong capability engaging senior stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions. Skilled in navigating commercial, regulatory, and organisational environments. Confident leading multidisciplinary teams across regions and complex programmes. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite; full time presence required in Hong Kong.
