BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

TEAM & ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Senior DesignOps Manager to enhance our operational efficiency, processes, and team health. This role reports to the Manager, Content Design & Operations, and works closely with DesignOps and cross-functional partners – OPEN TO GELNDALE, CA AND REMOTE IN OUR ORLANDO, FL LOCATION!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and improve DesignOps processes to boost team throughput.
  • Maintain efficient processes for work intake, project prioritization, roadmapping, forecasting, and tracking design/content debt across lines of business.
  • Identify team needs related to tools, documentation, and asset management; partner to implement solutions.
  • Manage activities of large or strategic design efforts, providing guidance and strategic oversight.
  • Oversee resource planning, designer allocation, and overall health of the product design team.
  • Facilitate communication between design teams, leadership, and cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate with design management to gather project requirements, provide estimations, track action items, and ensure commitments are met.
  • Maintain metrics to measure team impact and health.
  • Ensure collaboration and alignment across geographically dispersed design teams.
  • Foster a strong design community through events, routines, and best practices.
