Description
Job Description At Rituals, we believe it’s the thoughtful details and carefully curated moments that create meaningful experiences for our customers. Our Shop in Shops, single fixtures, and large scale retail concepts across partners such as Bijenkorf and Galeries Lafayette are brought to life through strong project leadership, technical expertise, and close cross functional collaboration. This role is focused on project delivery and execution across international Wholesale and Travel markets. As Senior Design Project Manager (WHS & Travel), you will lead the end to end implementation of retail projects, translating approved designs into successful, on time, and on budget delivery. This is not a design role, as creative ownership sits within a dedicated design team. You will operate independently at a senior level, manage 20 to 30 projects in parallel, coach junior Project Managers, and work hands on across regions, with travel averaging once every six weeks depending on portfolio and project phase. In this role (40 hours per week), you will: Lead and manage the implementation of approved retail designs, ensuring on time and on budget delivery across Wholesale and Travel projects. Translate designs into production, roll out, and shop fit out, ensuring feasibility, quality, and alignment with Rituals standards. Own a defined regional portfolio such as Iberia and Italy, DACH, Benelux, UK, and Nordics, adapting your approach based on market maturity and partner needs. Act as the key point of contact for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including Construction Managers, local market teams, suppliers, and wholesale partners. Navigate complex stakeholder environments where Rituals operates via licenses and partnerships, balancing influence, collaboration, and representation of the brand. Develop and maintain clear project plans, timelines, and budgets, with a continuous focus on optimisation, sustainability, and scalability. Operate independently, taking ownership of decisions and outcomes, while coaching and mentoring junior Project Managers within the team. Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, ways of working, and cross functional collaboration. Represent Rituals professionally on site and with partners, building strong durable working relationships. Qualifications You’ll bring: 10+ years’ experience as a Project Manager within retail, construction, or high-volume project environments. An architectural or technical background is a strong advantage, particularly the ability to read drawings, assess feasibility, and guide on site construction decisions without owning creative design. Strong project management expertise, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with external partners where full ownership and control are shared. Comfort operating in ambiguous fast paced environments where plans may change at short notice. A sharp eye for detail, strong judgement, and the confidence to make pragmatic decisions on the ground. A collaborative, communicative leadership style, with the ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues. Within the Format & Design department, you’ll join a close-knit team of 5 passionate colleagues, all dedicated to creating meaningful retail experiences. If bringing creative ideas to life through seamless project delivery excites you, we’d love to hear from you! The next steps are: The Recruiter, Camilla Milson, will contact you within 10 working days An introductory meeting with the Hiring Manager A second onsite interview with Director & Team Member In the event of a positive outcome, you will receive a proposal with the terms of employment.
