Description

ABOUT US

Chainlink Labs is the primary contributing developer of Chainlink, the decentralized computing platform powering the verifiable web. Chainlink is the industry-standard platform for providing access to real-world data, offchain computation, and secure cross-chain interoperability across any blockchain. Chainlink Labs helps power verifiable applications for banking, DeFi, global trade, and gaming by collaborating with some of the world’s largest financial institutions, notably Swift, DTCC, and ANZ. Chainlink Labs also works with top Web3 teams, including Aave, Compound, GMX, Maker, and Synthetix. Chainlink Labs was ranked in Newsweek’s 100 Most Loved Workplaces 2023 in both the United States and United Kingdom.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 8+ years of design experience, including a strong portfolio of technical diagrams, product visualizations, and executive-level presentations
  • Proven ability to turn ambiguous, complex technical topics into structured, clear, and engaging visuals
  • Deep familiarity with Web3, blockchain primitives, and emerging infrastructure—ideally with previous experience working in the space or strong demonstrable understanding
  • Product design mindset: can reason about user goals, communication intent, and how visual hierarchy supports comprehension
  • Mastery of Google Slides, Keynote, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma. Bonus: experience with After Effects, and motion tools
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience partnering with senior stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional teams
  • Proactive, organized, and self-directed; can manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • UI/UX design experience is a plus
  • Blockchain interest or experience (preference for familiarity with Chainlink)

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working in a remote, async-first environment
  • Strong grasp of branding and visual identity systems, especially in a highly technical product space
  • Experience facilitating or contributing to design processes that span both marketing and product orgs
  • Enthusiasm for shaping how the world understands new technology such as blockchain
All roles with Chainlink Labs are global and remote-based. Unless otherwise stated, we ask that you try to overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
We carefully review all applications and aim to provide a response to every candidate within two weeks after the job posting closes. The closing date is listed on the job advert, so we encourage you to take the time to thoughtfully prepare your application. We want to fully consider your experience and skills, and you will hear from us regarding the status of your application shortly after the closing date.
Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with deep visual storytelling ability and strong product-thinking instincts to join our Executive Office. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives at the intersection of technical comprehension and visual clarity—someone who can take complex, abstract Web3 concepts and craft compelling, visually accurate diagrams and narratives that resonate with a variety of audiences.
You’ll work closely with Chainlink’s founder and other senior leaders to visually articulate product vision and technical strategy. You will translate raw ideas and dense technical information into high-quality visuals—architecture diagrams, conceptual illustrations, slides, and occasionally animations—that are both visually stunning and deeply informative. You’ll be a design partner to leadership and marketing, playing a critical role in shaping how we communicate Chainlink’s mission, roadmap, and innovations internally and externally
