The role of Senior Designer will be responsible for collaborating on the design of projects from pre-design and development, through construction administration and management of installation. You will often lead project design efforts, client interactions, and presentations with the overall direction of Jessie Ann, Creative Director and Principal Designer, and other senior leadership.
You will possess strong leadership and team building skills to see projects through completion in a timely manner. You will work collaboratively with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members to deliver projects.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Be a design team leader through all phases of the design process
• Have strong communication and time management skills
• Set pre-design inspirations for project palette, and provide directions to the team for development
• Manage overall vision and style direction, through design development, product specification, fabrication and installation
• Prepare construction documents related to all phases of each project. Details such as tile elevations, ceiling details, cabinet designs, etc.
• Execute project designs within budget to maximum client satisfaction and optimal company margins
• Contribute to overall operations, including but not limited to: the development of new inspirations for custom furnishings and construction details

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented
• Amazing communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to be assertive and clear with vendors and subcontractors.
• Must have a reliable car with a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent knowledge of applications such as Google Drive, Word, and Excel.
• Adobe Photoshop: 3 years (Preferred)
• Interior design: 5 years (Preferred)
• AutoCAD EXPERT level is a MUST.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
