Primary Purpose Designs, develops, and enhances Mobile Applications Responsibilities Designs, develops, and enhances Android Native Mobile app used in clinical trials. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Adheres to best practices and Emmes quality standards for code security, optimization, and reusability. Uses established frameworks for a seamless user experience across platforms. Performs unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting as needed to ensure quality of work. Performs code reviews, assesses regression impact for design changes, and completes technical documentation. Identifies opportunities for refactoring/reworking major modules and sees implementation through to deployment. Ensure mobile applications are compatible with the latest Android versions and devices. Mentors junior team members. Qualifications 3 or more years of related professional experience. Min 2 years of experience in Android Application Development using Kotlin Proficiency in Kotlin and Java. Deep understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack libraries. Strong understanding of secure coding principles and data storage options in Android. Expertise in REST API or GraphQL API integration and API security. Experience with source code repositories like AWS CodeCommit, Git/GitHub, or SVN Strong understanding of secure coding principles and data storage options in Android Experience with offline capabilities and handling local storage in Android apps. Knowledge of Android Architecture Components, Firebase, and Health Connect Experience with Firebase, APNs, and Push Notifications. Demonstrated experience in leading a team of developers and handling project lifecycles in Agile environments Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to establish best design and user flows for applications. Strong multitasking, problem solving, and organizational skills. Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment. Experience in Application hosting on Playstore Familiarity with mobile analytics and A/B testing. Any of the following additional technical skills would be a plus: Expertise with iOS development Experience with Material Design Experience with Material-UI or other front-end libraries
