Job title: Senior Developer (Backend C#, MVC, JavaScript) Salary: Up to £80k (dependant on skills & experience)Location: Pier Walk, North GreenwichContract Type: Permanent TFL Band 3  Overview of project/role    Join us, and you could soon be using best practices such as TDD, CI & CD to deliver software that’s used by millions of Londoners every day.   You’ll be developing TfL’s public websites and APIs. We’ll rely on you to develop systems that are elegant, robust and can handle very high throughput   You’ll work as part of a Scrum team. That means you’ll be involved in activities such as refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos and daily scrums. You’ll work with other scrum teams using large scale scrum to produce coordinated and integrated high-quality working software.    Skills   Constantly looking for better ways to develop software and experienced in developing high profile public websites, you’ll be an expert in the following: - C#, .NET Core  Microsoft Azure (App Service, Function, Service Bus, API Management) Web APIs SQL Server Test Driven Development Azure DevOps pipelines / Bicep / ARM templates Proven experience in implementing OAuth-based authentication flows and managed identities to secure applications and resources in Azure Writing unit and integration tests, performing code reviews to maintain high-quality standards Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize existing Azure solutions    Highly Desirable: Worked with payment integration platform Scrum or Kanban TypeScript, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC React or another single-page application framework Takes ownership, drives delivery, and continuously looks for ways to improve   If you can bring excellent communication skills and a flair for analysing complex systems and coming up with effective solutions to problems, you're definitely someone we'd like to talk to.      Equality, diversity and inclusion    We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.
