Lenderworks is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our Information Systems team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining custom scripts, plugins, and integrations for our Loan Origination System (Encompass). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in C# .NET, VB .NET, JavaScript, PowerShell, and PowerFX, and will play a key role in modernization efforts through automation and AI-driven initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain custom scripts, plugins, and extensions for the loan origination system.
Build and support integrations between Encompass and third-party systems.
Implement logic and workflows to enhance loan processes.
Ensure code quality, scalability, and industry compliance.
Deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline operations.
Support AI projects, including data processing and workflow improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to customizations.
Maintain clear documentation for all custom developments and integrations.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in C# .NET, VB .NET, JavaScript, PowerShell, and PowerFX.
Experience with Encompass SDK and custom development within LOS environments.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and integration best practices.
Knowledge of RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) is a plus.
Understanding of AI concepts and their application in business processes.
Understanding of the software development life cycle and application security best practices based on OWASP and other security standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in mortgage technology or LOS systems.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
Developer certifications desired (e.g., CSDP, CSSLP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or DevOps Engineer Expert, Security +, etc…).
