Description

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:

Web application design and development including server-side APIs (preferably utilising NodeJS or Python) and client-side UIs (utilising HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
Source code version control repositories (preferably Git) and associated platforms (such as BitBucket, GitHub, etc.).
Automated deployments via CI/CD pipelines and associated platforms (such as AWS Code Pipeline, Bamboo, BitBucket Pipeline, etc.).
Databases and associated processing and storage techniques (such as ETL – extracting, transforming, loading).
Management of applications and file systems via CLI and associated scripts (such as Batch and Shell).
Cloud based development in AWS is an advantage.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for planning, creating, testing, and documenting new and amended software components. Your expertise will be crucial in providing technical mentoring, support, advice, and assistance in resolving software and data issues. You will also guide team members in developing effective solutions.

IN THE ROLE OF SENIOR DEVELOPER, YOU WILL COLLABORATE WITH VARIOUS TEAMS THAT UTILISE A RANGE OF IT SYSTEMS TO ACHIEVE THEIR OBJECTIVES. SEE BELOW NON EXHAUSTIVE LIST.

Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $129464 base plus superannuation
