Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience working with SAP (ECC 6 / S/4 Hana) in a hands-on application management organization and project environment
• Expert ABAP skills (OO ABAP, Report development, Smartform development, idoc-EDI development, Enhancements implementations)
• Experience in CDS view development is an advantage
• Fluent English language knowledge
• College or University (IT /Business Degree or Equivalent)
• Expert level understanding of the SAP product suite
• Expert in diagnosing, debugging and trouble shooting
• Extensive experience with SAP configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
• Experience defining business requirements, writing functional design documentation
• Experience in designing SAP software components
• Experience integrating SAP with different business systems, as well as working with integration tools

ROLE PURPOSE:

The developer is part of a developer pool supporting the functional teams to solve operational issues or deliver on projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development and enhancements for the ABAP Objects (reports, function modules, smartforms, OO programming, CDS view)
• SAP logic for interfaces, APIs, etc
• Creation of the Technical Design Documentation (TDD)
• Incident handling in Production systems
• Share knowledge within the team
• Collaborates closely with the Solution Architects, Functional Specialists and integration specialists
• Debug and solve operational issues
• Develop technical design for functional requirements
• Develop and test the solutions
• Maintain and continuously improve the quality of the solutions in operation and new project deliveries
