What you´ll do:
You will join an agile team tasked with the mission to provide security related services to all microservices of SAP HANA Cloud. The team develops automation to deploy & maintain Hashicorp Vault K8s clusters not only in public clouds, but also private clouds. Additionally, the team manages the Identity and Access management (IAM) for all HANA Cloud production clusters via a custom terraform plugin. Contribute to the team mission by designing and developing of new features as well as incident resolution if something unforeseen happens. Issues with our service only happen once. We strive to understand malfunctions and their root causes, so that we can improve our services to scale better and reduce manual efforts every day.

As a Senior Developer / Senior Cloud Engineer (f/m/d) for Database Cloud Infrastructure you will:

• Join a diverse team on doing agile software development on a global scale
• Be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing completely new features in our security stack and continuously ensuring that they meet customer requirements (internal and external stakeholders)
• Share responsibility to further develop and operate security services (Hashicorp Vault & Terraform)
• Take care of incidents, drive resolution and RCA’s to further maximize availability of security services to keep SLA’s

What you bring:

• 6+ years of related professional experience
• Professional experience with Kubernetes, Hashicorp Vault, Hashicorp Terraform, Helm and surrounding technologies
• Professional experience in one or more programming languages, preferably Python and/or GO
• Ideally experience with identity and access management (IAM) in cloud environments (OIDC, Single Sign-on, Multi factor authentication)
• Very good language skills in English

SAP employs a hybrid working model and allows up to two days mobile working per week.
