This role will combine proactive measures that seek to drive positive cultural change, as well as intervening with impactful solutions where standards have slipped. The postholder will be an expert in engaging people with the hard-to-do aspects of leadership and will deliver training that gives students the confidence to be conscientious leaders, for example, through active bystandership, and championing consent culture.
The role is situated within our Development Team, but will collaborate with colleagues across the organisation, including our fulltime officers, as well as working with external partners within the Sport Exercise and Health division.
Through project-working, it will hone our approach in complex areas such as tackling initiations, enabling group-level suspensions and supporting grassroots campaigns that promote and enable inclusion for our most marginalised members.
