Description

We’re seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Development Manager to join our high-performing team to deliver Discover Children’s Story Centre’s individual giving programme and develop and co-deliver a new corporate strategy. The aim of this role is to bolster team capacity during our Up and Out! Capital Campaign and to support a maternity cover period.
You will have the opportunity to lead on developing a portfolio of individual major giving and roll out the new Story Supporter giving programme, working closely with the CEO, Development and Delivery Director, and Development Officer to support this area of activity. In addition, you will support the growth of Discover’s corporate fundraising plans with the Development and Delivery Director, working alongside the other Senior Development Manager. This role will also support the delivery of the trusts and foundations strategy, as managed by the other Senior Development Manager and the Development and Delivery Director, and support the organisation’s capital fundraising needs, as appropriate.
Discover Children’s Story Centre is the UK’s first hands-on creative literature space for children aged 0-11 years and their families / carers dedicated to generating a love of language, literature and stories. Discover transforms lives through stories, supporting over 100,000 children and families a year with creativity, confidence and connection in our purpose-built story worlds and in libraries, schools and festivals across London and beyond.
