Qiddiya Investment Company is pioneering the creation of a global entertainment hub in Saudi Arabia, and we are searching for a visionary Senior Development Manager - Area Development to join our team. This role is crucial in leading the development of area-specific plans and projects that will make our theme park a unique destination for visitors from all over the world.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience in theme park development or large-scale entertainment projects.
  • Proven experience in managing project development from concept through to completion, particularly in themed experiences.
  • Middle East or international theme park development experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of guest experience design and operational considerations in entertainment environments.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management principles and practices, including the use of relevant software tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exemplary communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse teams.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, design, and development of themed areas within the park, ensuring that all components align with the overall vision and guest experience.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and market research to inform decision-making and design processes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the development process, ensuring seamless collaboration between architects, designers, engineers, and contractors.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of all area development initiatives.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including local authorities, partners, and consultants to facilitate communication and gain necessary approvals.
  • Analyze design concepts with a focus on guest experience, safety, sustainability, and operational performance.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing challenges proactively to mitigate risks associated with area development.
  • Foster a creative environment that encourages innovation and fresh ideas in themed development.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, nurturing professional growth and a high-performance culture.
