[What the role is] Singapore’s Testing, Inspection, Certification (TIC) sector forms an integral part of our national quality infrastructure, building trust in Singapore’s products and services. You will play a key role in shaping the development of the TIC sector in Singapore, working closely with TIC enterprises, government and industry stakeholders to build enterprise and ecosystem capabilities, drive international recognition and establish strategic partnerships. You will also work alongside Singapore’s national standards and accreditation bodies on standards and conformance programmes that will facilitate regulatory acceptance and industry recognition of Singapore’s products and services, ensuring they remain competitive in the global landscape. [What you will be working on] 1) Sector and Ecosystem Development Gather insights on the TIC sector’s trends and developments in the region and beyond, to identify key areas of opportunities for Singapore’s TIC enterprises Drive initiatives to grow the TIC sector and build enterprise and ecosystem capabilities, with specific focus on Aerospace, Maritime, Offshore Wind and Food sector applications Monitor and stay plugged into the respective sectoral developments and plans, and understand the relevance of TIC services across these sectors 2) Stakeholder Engagement Account manage TIC enterprises and facilitate their growth and transformation Establish networks with TIC related industry bodies and drive industry-level initiatives and strategic partnerships Engage government agencies to review conformity assessment needs that support national and regulatory frameworks 3) Build a robust national quality infrastructure Understand and appreciate the national standards and accreditation programmes, and TIC enterprises and solutions supporting these programmes Work closely with Singapore Standards Council (SSC) and Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) on new standards and accreditation programme development Act as an advocate to build mindshare and drive adoption of standards, accreditation programmes and TIC services by government and industry [What we are looking for] Are you passionate about helping enterprises grow and driving quality and excellence?
