Teqniq is searching for a Senior DevOps Developer to work in the public sector.
36 hours per week.
3 months contract.
09:00-17:30

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Working using agile techniques as part of a multi-disciplinary team to help deliver a mix of small projects and larger product roadmap items.
· Automate the build and deployment of existing applications, either on-prem or in the cloud.
· Automate the configuration and deployment of system environments
· Address 2nd and 3rd line support issue
· An established member of the Out-of-Hours Support rota (additional pay)
· Fixing faults following agreed procedure.
· Ensuring quality assurance is a key part of delivery – both taking responsibility personally and integrating automated methods.
· Help to define excellent business processes, user experiences and technical standards.
· Influence our ways of working, helping to bring new ideas to the table to improve efficiency, stability and ease of change.

YOUR EXPERIENCE SHOULD INCLUDE:

1) 4+ years industry experience.
2) Experience of Linux upgrades and support.
3) Software Engineering experience – preferably Java/JavaScript/Python.
4) Cloud migration, preferably Azure.
5) Source control - preferably Git.
It would be great if you also had exposure to some of the following, but don’t worry if not, there’s an opportunity to learn.
1) Infrastructure as code – e.g. Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK etc.)
2) Containerisation – Docker/Kubernetes.
3) Awareness of playwright/cyprus testing tools.
