Job Description
Our customer is a German IT service provider specializing in cloud infrastructure and digital solutions for cooperative banks. We support them by developing and optimizing DevOps platforms, enhancing CI/CD automation, managing Kubernetes and OpenShift environments, and improving the security and stability of their systems.

Responsibilities

  • CI/CD & Automation: Design, implement, and optimize Jenkins pipelines and OpenShift CI/CD workflows to streamline deployments.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, ensuring performance, security, and availability.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Implement Dynatrace monitoring, logs analysis, and automated alerts to improve system reliability.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce best practices in infrastructure security, including SSL/TLS certificate management and access control.
  • Incident & Release Management: Work closely with developers and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable software releases.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor to mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes (OpenShift preferred) and container orchestration.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins (Groovy scripting a plus).
  • Knowledge of Dynatrace or similar monitoring and observability tools.
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Good understanding of Linux system administration and networking.
  • Familiarity with security best practices in a DevOps environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required.
