THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team.
You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in DevOps practices, automation, and cloud technologies, with a passion for building scalable and reliable systems. You should also be comfortable with the .NET development stack and have experience in improving Developer Experience in organisations.
This is a rare opportunity to establish best in class practices in DevOps from the ground up. You will have the autonomy and authority to propose and implement the changes necessary to make Altura one of the best engineering organizations in the Netherlands.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Altura as a Senior DevOps Engineer, reporting directly to our VP of Engineering, where you’ll lead the migration to infrastructure-as-code and establish a world-class DevOps practice from the ground up.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure using tools such as Azure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and release management.
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Azure Bicep, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Implement automated observability for system performance and reliability, driving proactive measures to optimise performance and ensure uptime.
• Develop common tools and libraries (in .NET) that teams will use to integrate in their solution to improve observability, reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and automation.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimise application architecture for scalability, performance, and security.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.
